The Founder

Roger Metta is the Founder of Scala Capital Partners Ltd and Chief Investment Officer of the Scala Capital Fund – its Multi Strategy Hedge Fund. 

Roger has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to the inception of Scala Capital Partners in 2010, he spent 14 years at Union Bancaire Privée in London. At UBP he ran its proprietary trading arm (CBI-UBP Intl Ltd) and then subsequently managed its Multi Strategy Hedge Fund between 2005 and 2009. 

Roger was co-founder of DMD Ventures Ltd and is current Non Executive Chairman of Spiritrade Ltd.

He was educated at the Lycée Français in Milan and in London and then went on to graduate from UCL with a Bachelor of Science in Economics.
